The development of modern fish farming was possible thanks to, among other things, subsidies
from EU programs. We present information on activities already implemented
and projects in progress.
Purpose of the operation: Protection and restoration of aquatic biodiversity and support of ecosystems related to aquaculture and promotion of resource-efficient aquaculture
Beneficiary: Jozef Lempio
Operational Program “Fisheries and the Sea”
Investor: Fish Farming Józef Łempio
Objective of operation: To increase the competitiveness and profitability of aquaculture enterprises
Project co-financed by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund of the European Union under the Operational Program “Fisheries and Sea”
Operation co-financed with funds from the European Fisheries Fund providing investment in sustainable fisheries

Operational Program “Fisheries and Sea”
Operation tasks: As part of the operation, I intend to equip the facilities in Rybki and Skrzeszewo with devices, equipment, and means of transport to increase trout production, namely: - two microsieves, i.e. mechanical filters with a mesh size of 90 microns and a capacity of at least 900 l/sec, used to capture mechanical impurities from the water (Skrzeszewo facility) - sixteen floating aerators with a power of 0.5–0.6 kW used for oxygenating fish ponds (Skrzeszewo facility) - sixty rotameters used for the proper dosing of oxygen, via aerators, into the ponds (both facilities) - thirty-six programmable feeders with a capacity of 60–80 kg for automatic feeding of fish in ponds (Skrzeszewo facility) - purchase of three oxygen meters and two photometers for measuring the amount of oxygen and nitrites in the water, enabling a quick reaction by changing the amount of oxygen supplied, feed dosage, or reducing the fish density in ponds (both facilities) - purchase of a trailer with a superstructure for transporting fish in tanks, necessary to increase transport capacity resulting from the increased mass of fish produced (both facilities) - preparation of design documentation and expansion of the internal electrical installation supplying the microsieves, feeders, and aerators planned for purchase under the project (Skrzeszewo facility) - construction and installation of a photovoltaic system with a capacity of approx. 150 kWp at the Skrzeszewo facility, which will supply the facility with the necessary electricity
Beneficiary: The target group of the project is the owner of the fish farm (fish farmer) who implements the project including the investment, and indirectly, the recipients of the fish produced at the facility, i.e. fish wholesalers and processors, and the end consumers of farmed fish.
Objective of the operation: The aim of the project is to increase the production capacity of the facility, leading to increased trout production.
Effect of the operation: The planned effect of the project will be: - an increase in trout production by 50 tons annually (in the last three years I have produced: 2021 – 651.3 tons, 2022 – 714.4 tons, 2023 – 657.6 tons, i.e. an annual average of 674.44 tons of trout) - a twofold increase in the transport capacity of the existing fleet for transporting fish - improvement of fish welfare at both farming facilities.
Value of the operation: Total expenditure: PLN 3,026,716.21 gross
Amount of co-financing from the EMFF: Funding: PLN 1,230,372.44, including EU funding: PLN 861,260.71
